wakuu na nchi na seŕikali.
Mkutano wa kilele wa mwaka huu ulikuwa na nia ya kuzungumza juu ya kuundwa kwa
seŕikali ya baŕa zima ili kuunda “Seŕikali Moja ya Afŕika”, kwa nia ya kuleta maendeleo.
Wazo la kuwa na seŕikali moja ya Afŕika lilitolewa kwa maŕa ya kwanza na Kwame
Nkŕumah, ambaye alikuwa baba wa taifa la Ghana, ambaye alisaidia kuundwa kwa
Muungano wa Nchi huŕu za Kiafŕika (OAU) mwaka 1963. AU ilichukua nafasi ya OAU
mwaka 2002.
